Dongsi Mosque

Located at number 13 , Dongsi South Street , Chaoyang District, Dongsi headquarters mosque is located at the Branch of the Chinese Islamic Association in Beijing.

The mosque was under the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and built several times before restorations and renovations. Existing buildings include two doors in the prayer hall, minaret and ruins library, etc. prayer hall for 500 people and carved script Koran room arc ; Wedding services and funerals take place here , and Chinese and foreign Muslims come daily or weekly prayers. The library has valuable manuscripts Koran , Hadith and Islamic law ; Work of Islamic philosophy , literature and history; Gifts and traditional Islam from Pakistan , Turkey , Egypt and India , most of which are about two or three hundred years of the Koran of about 700 years , is particularly valuable .
